Announcing: Forcepoint NGFW 6.5
Forcepoint NGFW 6.5 is now available to partners and customers for download from the Support Portal. This is newest version of our next generation security software that powers our physical and virtual firewall, VPN, SD-WAN and IPS appliances. New SD-WAN Dashboards
Forcepoint NGFW 6.5 makes it easier for customers to manage both connectivity and security in distributed environments. New SD-WAN dashboards provide interactive monitoring of Internet Service Provider (ISP) links and how applications are using them. This makes potential issues easy to spot before they become problems and outages.

Enhanced Application-Aware Routing
NGFW recognizes applications based on traffic, not just based on static port numbers. NGFW 6.5 can route a specific application or group of applications to the cloud for additional security services like Forcepoint Web Security and CASB. In addition, Application-Aware Routing can select links that it will use for a specific application, for example, choose low cost links for traffic that is not production critical like Netflix or YouTube.
Auto-Scale for Amazon Web Services (AWS)
With NGFW 6.5, the number of virtual NGFWs running in Amazon Web Services can be automatically scaled up or down based on the work being protected (just as we also do in Microsoft Azure). In addition, internal host names can be used instead of static IP addresses in NGFW access policy when deploying NGFW in Amazon Web Services.
